The Quality Chop House 150th Anniversary Menu

This 19th-century working man's 'eating house', revamped as a modern British dining room and wine bar, is celebrating their 150th anniversary with a special menu.

The Quality Chop House (re)opened in 2012, having been a restaurant on Farringdon Road since it was built in 1869. The Grade II-listed dining room features wooden booths and black-and-white tiled floors recalling its relatively humble Victorian origins. To commemorate they are serving a special menu of their classic dishes "reinterpreted by head chef Shaun Searley", such as beef fat brioche with duck liver parfait and black truffle and peas with jellied eel. The menu is priced at £45 and includes a glass of Moet Imperial NV.
