Red Hook Tavern

The long-awaited, much-anticipated American tavern from Hometown Bar-B-Que owner and pitmaster Billy Durney.

Red Hook Tavern is situated just a few blocks away from the flagship Hometown Bar-B-Que in Red Hook, Brooklyn - one of the top BBQ joints in NYC. The place has been inspired by classic New York spots, and takes cues from some of Durney’s favorite restaurants - including iconic places like Corner Bistro and McSorley’s Old Ale House. Heading up the kitchen is Allison Plumer (from Lot 2) and expect a tavern-esque menu of throwback classics - such as 45-day dry-aged burger, brick chicken, and 45-day dry-aged strip steak. Washed down by craft beers, a 170 bottle bin list (mainly natural wines) and classic cocktails. The space (formerly a liquor store) features exposed brick walls, vintage foral wallpaper and furnishings for that rustic tavern vibe.
