The Little Prince at Three: ‘Vegetables Aren't Just a SideShow’

Renowned chef Ari Taymor of L.A.'s Little Prince, the immensely popular New American breakfast and brunch spot, is heading to Miami for a veggie-infused cooking class.

After working in Michelin-starred and James Beard-winning restaurants in both San Francisco and Southern France, Taymor opened his first L.A. restaurant - the acclaimed downtown hotspot Alma - named the Best New Restaurant in America by Bon Appétit. After shuttering Alma at the end of 2017, Taymor set up Little Prince along the coast where he explores the diverse ingredients and culture that make Southern California unique.

Taymor is hosting a veggie-infused cooking class at In the Kitchen, the cooking school next to Three, on Wednesday, October 2nd from 6.30pm. Focusing on his love for creating vegetable-focused dishes, the chef will teach attendees how to prepare four different types of dishes with vegetables as the main component. Places are priced at $125.

Signature Dishes

Warm wild mushroom salad with chicories, hazelnut, and vadouvan; roasted carrots with dandelion salsa verde; roasted lamb saddle and a dessert of buckwheat-chocolate torte with plum sherbert and almond cream.
