Connie Zhang, the woman behind Flushing dim sum restaurant Royal Queen - the largest Chinese restaurant in the country, has followed up with this venture in Manhattan. The two-story, 75-seat restaurant takes over the space once home to soup dumpling specialist Joe’s Shanghai and  serves Shanghai-inspired fare with Sichuan and Cantonese touches in a space designed to evoke old Shanghai.

Dine on traditional Chinese cuisine, including Shanghainese, Cantonese, Dim Sum and sichuan cuisine. The menu includes many home-style dishes accompanied by other classic Chinese dishes, such as steamed pork buns, Peking duck, dim sum, and Royal Queen’s best selling king crab.
