One of the oldest and most historic restaurants in Milan has opened its doors in the heart of London. The Blenheim Street site has been home to several high-end Italians over the years - Semplice and more recently Camillo Benso. The latest to try its luck is Giannino which, having conquered Milan since opening in 1899 by Pisa-born Giannino Bindi is regarded as as one of Milan's finest restaurants. Expect a modern take on traditional home-cooking Italian cuisine wtih classic dishes getting the gourmet treatment.
Spread across two floors, the stylish and elegant restaurant has been designed by Spagnulo & Partners, the Italian architecture studio who oversaw a dramatic (and very handsome) refurbishment of Ristorante Giannino in Milan.
