Casa Ora

A family owned and operated Venezuelan-American restaurant and bar bringing elevated Venezuelan fare to Williamsburg.

Chef Luis Herrera - of Cosme and Alto acclaim - is serving up upscale, farm to table 'comfort' plates - interpretating the traditional fare from his home of Caracas. Think dishes like corn dumplings filled with beef in a tangy tomato sauce; corn fritters with sweet plantain, queso blanco and creamy homemade nata; and tamales stuffed with pork.

The space is nostalgically furnished with a 80s themed around a Latina grandma's home - decked out with handmade oak dining tables, plush leather sofas, and soft lighting with photographs of Venezuela on the walls by Emmy award nominated photographer, Carlos Beltran.

Highlights

In times of political injustice upon Venezuelans, Casa Ora is dedicated to donating a portion of revenue to families forced to seek asylum due to lack of human rights resources such as food, clean water, and government protection.
