Escape the 'rat race' and celebrate Chinese New Year at the Mandarin Oriental Miami.
The hotel's lobby will be adorned with over 100 red lanterns and a giant lucky kumquat tree. In celebration of the New Year, partake in the Chinese tradition of hanging red envelopes, symbolizing good fortune for the year ahead. The week-long festivities run from Saturday, January 25th through to Sunday, February 2nd, and include a dim sum buffet ($25 per person) at the hotel's Mo Bar + Lounge - nightly from 5pm to 8pm. A traditional Chinese Lion Dance takes place in the hotel’s lobby on January 25, at 7.30pm - accompanied by beating drums, cymbals and gongs.
