Several of the 'World's Best Bars' are heading to the capital and serving their award-winning cocktails, ahead of the 2021 rankings being unveiled in a ceremony taking place in London's Roundhouse this December.

The Clumsies at Hotbox Spitalfields 

Multi-award winning The Clumsies Bar from Athens are taking up residency at the modern smokehouse Hotbox, in Spitalfields - on Wednesday, 8th and Thursday, 9th December. Ranked 3rd place in ‘The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2020’, The Clumsies Bar has gained an international reputation for its innovative cocktails and warm Athenian hospitality. This December, The Clumsies are bringing their expertise to the heart of Shoreditch, mixing away a selection of their delicious serves such as The Lost Explorer with mezcal, beetroot Kvass, Pandan, turmeric & London Essence rosemary and grapefruit tonic and Eden Garden, a concoction of London Dry Gin, Sandalwood Campari, Manchino Sakura vermouth & eden flower.

Dante at The Churchill Bar & Terrace

The Churchill Bar & Terrace is hosting two exclusive bartending evenings at the start of December with two of the world’s leading bars - Dante in New York City and Paradiso in Barcelona. First up is Dante on December 5, which has been voted the Number 1 Best Bar in the World by The World’s 50 Best Bars and currently ranked at No. 2. Located in Greenwich Village, Dante opened its doors in 1915 and is now a registered New York City landmark, where its historical integrity and sense of community remains; with menu highlights including The Dante Martini with Mancino Vermouth, gin, vodka, a lemon liqueur, olive and lemon bitters; as well as the Martini with a Twist. 

Paradiso Bar at The Churchill Bar & Terrace

Currently ranked as Number 19 in The World’s 50 Best Bars. The speakeasy-inspired bar in Barcelona is a fabulously quirky venue, where you enter through a pastrami bar refrigerator. The bar’s owner, Giacomo Giannotti will be serving up (December 8) five different cocktails, all from the new menu inspired by the universe and natural phenomena. Menu highlights include the iconic Tornado a Spritz, with Mancino Vermouth, vodka, bergamot liqueur, cava and goji cordial, and their signature cocktail - The Cloud, which includes mezcal, Mancino Vermouth, amaro, Spanish smoked chillies, and an edible cloud flavoured with coffee.

MO BAR at Park Row

Recognised as one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 (No.45) and inspired by the Pacific Ocean and rich culture of Asia’s ports, MO BAR at Mandarin Oriental Singapore - serves up regionally inspired cocktails. For one night only on 8th December, MO BAR’s bartenders are bringing their shakers and and innovative creations to Park Row to serve up some of their very best cocktails to Old Gotham City at Park Row. This takeover is open to walk-ins only, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Old Gotham City is open from 5pm til late.
