Lucien x Burberry

Downtown New York City’s sceneiest French bistro, just got an English accent, with a collaboration and makeover with the British fashion house.

Lucien is known as a hub for downtown creatives. Artists, filmmakers, designers, writers and more have walked through its bright-yellow entryway to indulge in cocktails and French fare. Now hangs a new awning in Burberry’s signature check - marking a 10-day pop-up partnership between the New York City restaurant and the British luxury brand to celebrate, as a shared press statement reads, “heritage, legacy and community.”

And the pattern doesn’t stop at the door - it also stretches across the seat cushions of barstools and bentwood chairs. Anyone stopping by for a plate of oysters or a salade nicoise through May 29th will have the chance to eat them off of Burberry dinnerware, and order a new Burberry-inspired cocktail. The brands have teamed up on a whole host of dual-branded items - from t-shirts to crockery, coasters, napkins and matchboxes.
