Absolut's Elyx has something most high-end vodka brands don't: its own 5,000 square foot apartment in New York's upmarket Meatpacking District.

This isn't just any apartment either, but strangely enough was once the pad of actor Mickey Rourke. The luxurious loft space - just across the road from the High Line park - is accessed via a private elevator. Once inside, the apartment has been decked out in what they describe as a "raw lux" aesthetic with artfully weathered walls, Gustavian chandeliers, and a copper disco ball to match the copper pineapple cocktail cups - the copper theme is a nod to the distillation process for Elyx.

With award-winning interior designer Shaun Clarkson behind its creation - the man responsible for the Fifth Floor Bar at Harvey Nichols and Michelin-starred restaurant Oxo Tower - Elyx House has been designed for entertaining, featuring a 23-seat reclaimed wood dining table. It is also the private residence of CEO Jonas Tahlin and his wife, whose apartment is accessed via a trapdoor opened by pulling a book on a secret shelf. How very 007.
