The last time we thought about hot dogs and speakeasies in one sentence it was at PDT, the world-famous hidden bar accessed via Crif Dogs. Well, this time it's the frank parlor that's behind closed doors not the booze, at New York's latest pop up, Swanky Dog.

This secret frank parlor has popped up behind Chelsea pizza spot Prova. In true speakeasy style, Swanky Dog is accessed via an unmarked entrance on 19th Street if you arrive after midnight. Prior to that just find your way through Prova itself. 

The parlor will offer hot dog-sausage hybrids created exclusively by Rastelli Meats and served on King's Hawaiian buns. Toppings include house made sauces. They've also got dessert dogs - such as the Cannoli Dog - for afters and cocktails. Swanky Dog is open from 5pm to late, Tuesdays through Saturdays, until the end of summer.
