When the Rainbow Room opened in October 1934, it transformed the 65th floor of 30 Rockerfeller Plaza – also known as 30 Rock – into the most elegant space in the New York. The dining and entertainment destination, with breathtaking views over the city’s dazzling skyline - including the Empire State Building, just a few blocks away - came to be considered a beacon of style and sophistication. Over the years, entertainers and other notables from Cole Porter, Noel Coward, Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson, to all New York City mayors from Fiorello LaGuardia to Michael Bloomberg, Al Pacino, Barbra Streisand and Muhammad Ali, have all dined, danced and celebrated occasions at the Rainbow Room.

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Jonathan Wright, formerly of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and The Setai, Miami Beach. At dinner, the menu of classic and contemporary American cuisine includes the venue’s signature Oysters Rockefeller, along with Lobster Pot Pie and Herb Roasted Pennsylvania Lamb. The restaurant is open to the public for Sunday brunch and Monday dinners.
