Partners exec chef Edwin Purnomo (a Sushi of Gari vet), Jason Apfelbaum (former food and beverage director of Morgans hotel group) and Marc Roth (of Peacock Alley in the Waldorf) have collaborated to deliver top notch cuisine alongside a bonkers interactive, audio-visual experience unlike anything in New York – or the country for that matter.
The coy, unassuming entrance is there to fool you. Just past the identical twin maître d's and heavy curtains is a sensory overload in waiting. Surrounding the 20-seat banquette are images of Godzilla, sumo wrestlers, pillars that morph into waterfalls, stacks of sparkling lucky cats and more print mixing than a decade of New York Fashion Week. The all-singing and all-dancing pop-star wannabe servers will also keep you entertained, dressed in bespoke Betsey Johnson costumes. Choreographed by Asia Nitollano, a former Pussycat Doll, there's nothing stopping you from getting up and joining in.
Entertainment with a side of sushi.
Roxxy Roll, with rock shrimp tempura, aioli, spicy tuna and pickled jalepeno.
Cobra Kai, with Grey Goose vodka, mezcal, watermelon, pink peppercorn, lime, Shiso leaf, and lime fresco salt.
