The Pem - With a twist 

Celebrate Thanksgiving at The Pem - the recently opened fine dining restaurant set within the Conrad London St James, where Chef Sally Abé (formerly of The Harwood Arms) has created a one-off, celebratory menu, using the best of British ingredients - and giving it their own signature twist. Maple roast bronze turkey is the star of the show, served with all the trimmings including yams, thyme, brown butter, savoury marshmallows, Brussel sprouts, smoked chestnuts, pork belly, and duck fat hassleback potatoes. The dessert of pumpkin pie ice cream is served with hazelnuts and shortbread. The Thanksgiving celebration menu (priced at £95 per person) at The Pem is available for lunch and dinner on Thursday 25th November.

Joe Allen’s - A class act 

Embracing its New York roots - the American Brasserie and theatreland institution is hosting a one-night-only Thanksgiving celebration. Dishes include an autumnal salad of beetroot, feta and orange dandelion topped with pecan granola; along with a New York favourite and Joe Allen classic, Mr Allen’s Steak Tartare. Followed by roast turkey complete with all the traditional trimmings alongside a few alternatives including a grilled New York strip. Then – to finish – choose the indulgently cheesecake or the peanut butter and jelly ice-cream sandwich. Joe Allen’s Thanksgiving menu will be served on Thursday 25th November, and is priced at £65 per person.  

Davies & Brook - Scene stealer 

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a Michelin-starred twist this year, as chef Daniel Humm (of NYC’s three star Eleven Madison Park fame) blends tradition with British seasonality. Settle into the relaxed and refined dining room for four creative courses with filled with luxurious ingredients – including foie gras with black truffle, lobster tail and a chestnut-stuffed, roasted turkey centrepiece - with trimmings including sprouts, potato mousseline & cranberry sauce. Complete with all the pies – think the pumpkin and pecan variety – this is Thanksgiving, elevated. The Thanksgiving menu is priced at £155 per person. 

The Riding House Café - Covering all bases

This buzzy venue in central London, feels instantly like home, making it the perfect choice for Thanksgiving celebrations. Whether you’re looking for an intimate evening with a few friends, or to pull out the stops with a stylish private dining room (The Stables provide a cosy retreat for groups of up to 14), they have got you covered. Expect a menu served as a sharing meal, in true family style including roast Norfolk bronze turkey with maple-buttered sweet potatoes and truffled mac & cheese - washed down with a belly-warming Kentucky Bucket made with Maker’s Mark bourbon, cider, mango tea, maple syrup, orange bitters & lemon. The menu (priced at £45 per person) is available 25 November - for lunch & dinner and also dinner on Friday 26 November. 

Christopher's - True Tradition

When it comes to Thanksgiving in London, no spot makes more sense than the capital’s original American restaurant and bar, Christopher’s. Serving a three-course feast (priced at £65) of US classics with an elegant twist in the dining room of their Grade II-listed building, on Thursday 25 November (available all day from 12pm to 11.30pm). Expect a three course Thanksgiving Menu with dishes such as carrot, cumin & chickpea chowder and slow-cooked ballotine of organic turkey with cornbread,chestnut cherry stuffing, cranberry relish, buttered beans, creamed potatoes. To finish there's pumpkin pie with whipped bourbon chantilly and based cheesecake with pistachio ice cream & popping candy.

Smith & Wollensky - All-American Action

American steakhouse Smith & Wollensky have a three course Star-Spangled style Thanksgiving dinner served on November 25.  The much-loved boutique steakhouse brand is serving up a traditional three-course set menu for £69. Dishes include a choice of starters such as their famous split pean soup with bacon and beef carpaccio with truffle oil. Then there's a choice of main courses -from the free-range bronze turkey with cranberry sauce, stuffing, whipped potatoes and a wide variety of side dishes to pan-fried Stone Bass. And classic pumpkin pie or Oreo cheesecake for dessert.

La Fromagerie -  Say cheese 

The award-winning cheese shop in Marleybone is celebrating Thanksgiving this year with a special themed supper, designed as a celebratory feast to be shared with friends. The intimate evening begins with drinks in the relaxed restaurant setting before sitting down for American-inspired dishes and traditional Thanksgiving flavours including roast turkey with all the trimmings and pumpkin & sage soup with homemade Cornbread. The menu also includes a cheeseboard specifically curated for the evening, featuring American Rogue River Blue. The supper also includes carefully selected wine pairings, designed to compliment the menu, and ends with classic American desserts including spiced apple pie and pumpkin & pecan pie. Priced at £95 per person. 

Sette London - Fusion feasting 

Sette is the sister restaurant to New York City's famed Scarpetta; bringing authentic Italian food from the heart of Manhattan to Knightsbridge. Head here if you’re in the mood for a Thanksgiving dinner with a Italan twist. To mark this traditionally American feast the spread features dishes such as chestnut & porcini soup with truffle, pumpkin & foie gras ravioli, traditional roasted turkey with seasonal trimmings, cinnamon sugar bombolini with pecan cream & gooseberry sorbet. Priced at £50 per person. 

Duck & Waffle - Feast with a view

Bring friends and family together or make new ones at their Friendsgiving Feast served as a communal, dining experience in their dining room overlooking the City of London. The feast is served family-style as in the spirit of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Feast on Chef Elliott Grover’s festive classics including pumpkin soup, sweet potato casserole and other scrumptious sides to accompany the main event: a succulent turkey, carved tableside and served family style with all the trimmings. £90 per guest, includes wine pairing.

Sussex - Soho supper

Sussex in Soho has introduced a six course Thanksgiving menu - available for dinner on the 25th November - for £65 per person (including a festive Cointreau cocktail), served alongside their a-la-carte menu. A variety of starter options include a festive pumpkin blini served with crème fraîche, and trout. Roast organic turkey with garden herb stuffing and cranberry jus takes centre stage for the main course, accompanied a variety of side dishes. Then there's a choice of either a classic British cheese board or Nutbourne pumpkin and ginger pie for pudding.
