Next months sees the launch of the London’s first night-time helicopter sightseeing tours.

The new After Dark helicopter sightseeing tours offer the ideal way to explore London’s ever-changing skyline. The helicopter route (climbing up to 1,000ft above the City) follows the River Thames (or a route of your choice) and takes in some of the capital’s most historic and famous (floodlit) landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and new attractions including The Shard.

The After Dark Experiences will start from November 1 and will be available until February 15, with scheduled flights taking off before 7pm. Priced at £4,000 for exclusive hire for up to 6 passengers.

The London Helicopter sells individual pre-booked seats (for daytime trips) on a real-time booking system and you can search availability for up to 12 months in advance with up to 15 flights a day. Flights depart from Barclays London Heliport. Each flight takes 20 minutes and carries up to six passengers (or you can book the flight exclusively) in a variety of helicopters in the company’s fleet. Tickets for day flights cost from £199 per seat.
