Like the Tarantino Film, only without the bloodshed and lots of gourmet hot dogs in its place.
Giving the guys over at Crif Dogs a run for their money, this Crown Heights hot dog joint is loosely inspired by the Tarantino, although really it's much more of just a tongue in cheek reference. Featuring a "build your own dog" bar, you can pimp your meat to your own standards or order one of their pre-planned handfuls. All franks are made on site, so there is an element of freshly homemade that keeps things charming with locally sourced meat.
It's open until midnight most of the week, with a 3 am last call on Fridays and Saturdays keeping your meaty cravings in check till the wee hours.
They’ve decked out the small Franklin Ave storefront with a huge mural by 5Pointz co-founder Meres One, who lives nearby, and there will be a small space for seating.
