How do you start your day? A Thai massage, dip in the pool as the sun rises between the palm trees and a bottle of Dom Perignon. Then I wake up, make the girls breakfast, and as I don't do solids before lunch, grab a coffee, or occasionally a green juice to keep the self-recrimination at bay, before heading to work (but never before 9am).
Leisurely lunch go to? All lunches should be leisurely - most of society's ills can be linked to the decline of the long lunch. Top spots near the office in Soho for settling in are Blacks and Quo Vadis but now 67 Pall Mall is starting to feature dangerously regularly on my bank statements.
Favourite way to pass the time in London? Trawling luxury lifestyle magazines and websites for the latest interviews with me. But feeding the ducks in Wimbledon Park with my daughters probably sounds better.
Favourite London landmark, and why? The Eye. I've always told people it's the one essential London attraction to visit. One day I suppose I'll have to go on it myself.
Tipple of choice and favourite cocktail hangout? I'm pretty conservative in my cocktail choices - fruit salads and chemistry experiments are fun to try, but I'll always prefer a large, exceptionally Dry Gibson. Hertford Street and Dukes are hard to beat on that score. I've also been known to enjoy the Absinth fountain at The Café Royal.
Favourite dining destination, and why? I'm giving myself two: Brunswick House in Vauxhall and The Clove Club in Shoreditch, both consistently exciting and satisfying in different ways. Each has a brilliant vibe, food and wines I love or look forward to being introduced to, many entertaining memories and owners/chefs who are at the top of their game. I remember discussing the difference between "the best" and "your favourite" restaurants - the former you recommend to visiting foodies, the latter where you take your closest friends. Brunswick and The Clove comfortably fall into both.
Final stop for a nightcap, and why? The Groucho, because it's never the last stop.
Best hangover remedy? Sleep then a long soak in the bath with two mugs of sweet tea. But if you have to stir before the crack of noon then Berocca and my signature Eggs Bledisloe brunch (Rosti, pancetta, wilted spinach, poached egg, Roquefort) and a really good Blanc de Blancs Champagne works wonders.
Where next on your travels? Off to Verona in a couple of weeks to visit a number of winemakers in Valpolicella. The Amarone wines they produce are simply the most distinctive and hedonistic in the world and I want to bring them to wider attention in the UK.
