Achatz have a four-week takeover of the Veranda at the months-old Faena Hotel Miami Beach — a place that, with permanent restaurants from Francis Mallmann and Austin, Texas’s Paul Qui, is no stranger to star chefs. Achatz (one of the most awarded chefs in the world) has recently hosted a Madrid pop-up, which included a dining experience at DiverXO.
Achatz will turn out an 18-course tasting menu of his progressive cuisine, comprised of Alinea classics along with culinary inspirations from both North and South American, particular attention to Miami itself, as well as Mallmann’s native Argentina. Menus are priced from $275 to $385, with wine pairings from $150 to $495 (standard, reserve and gold).
