James Beard Dinners

Get up close and personal with chefs from around the world historical James Beard House.

Experience the creme de la creme of the culinary world at the James Beard House where they hold dinners for small intimate groups several times a week. Consisting of multi-course meals highlighting individual chefs, restaurants or even a group of either, these can be specially themed events centralized around a specific idea or a showcase of their home regions, cuisines, and styles.

Start with a peek into the award winning kitchen and meet the chef of the evening before heading to a canape reception, followed by a five-to-six course meal complete with a tailored wine pairing. The chef closes out the night with a question/answer session which can cover anything from ingredients to methods, technique and training, and much more.

With over 200 events a year, there is always something interesting and noteworthy happening. Past guest chefs are a mix of up and coming and well known andhave included Lee Wolen (of Michelin Starred Boka, Chicago),  Francis Hogan (Sabio on Main, Bay Area, CA), and  Marcus Samuelson (Celebrity Chef).
