Chel-Ski is London’s largest indoor ski centre – a fun, safe and controlled environment where you can learn to ski or snowboard, as well as advance existing skills

London meets the mountains: this is a fantastic new indoor ski centre in the heart of Chelsea. The two slopes are revolving astro-turf mats, that rotate uphill, and by remote control, instructors can adjust the speed and angle of the slopes to match the ability of customers in each session. Beginners can also use the bar at the bottom of the slope to improve their balance and learn basic techniques, whilst more advanced can ski at speeds of up to 30kmh and a gradient of 40 degrees. 

At Chel-Ski (genius!), U can develop your technique under close ‘personal’ supervision - instructors look after just three customers (maximum) on each slope at any one time, so that they can assess your technique and give feedback on areas for improvement. They also offer private one-on-one tuition - catering for skiers, boarders and young sliders; everyone from first timers right through to Olympic downhill racers. 

A one-hour skiiing session costs £39.95 for an adult and £34.95 for a child, with various deals on multiple sessions. Private slope hire costs £199.95 for an hour.
