The Whisperer

This gastropub with a late night focus showcases a vintage radio style and unique drink menu designed to match wine with your taste for music.

The Whisperer is located just off Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park. Co-owner and established restaurateur Dion Antic is working with a talented team of locals to bring the indie east side concept to life. Piper Ingram, Head of Programming for Runaway Radio, is curating the play lists and planning to host shows from the studio upstairs. Amy Luftig Viste, Beverage Director, has created thoughtful album pairings to showcase the wine and beer list.

Wines such as the Secret Spot White Field Blend from Douro, Portugal, for instance, pairs well with the Beatles’ White album; while Le Tracteur Bleu Chenin Blanc from Gascgone, France, pairs well with Daft Punk. Beers like

But there’s food too and the Whisperer has teamed up with Community:Los Feliz by bringing in Al Gordon as opening Chef. The kitchen is open late serving a selection of elevated American classics until 12:30am everyday.
