Indian Accent

Sister restaurant to No. 77 best restaurant in the world, this new Midtown spot at Le Parker Meridien is cooking reimagined Indian with style and grace.

Indian Accent is the first international location of the award-winning New Delhi restaurant from restaurateur Rohit Khattar and chef Manish Mehrotra. After months of making us wait, they opened their doors in Midtown West last week, bringing polished Indian fare to new levels with artistically plated dishes and expertly crafted cocktails. This reimagined cuisine is far from what people expect loaded with delicate touches served in a space that is booth modern and classic with heavy velvet upholstery, walnut tables and mostly bare walls.

The menu is has several of their signature dishes like their butter chicken, but a few New York exclusives will be around like the stuffed kulcha loaded with pastrami and mustard butter, embracing their new surroundings. Ditching the standard à la carte routine, they've set up several "tasting menus" ranging from two-courses for $55 to a chefs tasting menu for $100 with additional supplements available.

The original New Delhi location opened in 2009 and is currently listed at number 77 on the S. Pellegrino’s best restaurants in the world list, making it the only restaurant in India rated.
