Ludlow House is the latest venture from the unstoppable Soho House Group opening this May. Housed in a former funeral home, this private members club will follow their successful format giving their guests multiple rooms to eat, drink, work, and socialize with some of the most attentive service and quality surroundings in the business.
The main restaurant is being called Lou's and will be an all-day number serving American-Italian fare plus a breakfast bar and lounge space, but the real gem here is their roof space, dubbed Ducked Up, which is described on the website as "a vegetarian Asian restaurant also serving crispy duck." Time will tell what that actually means, but so far the renderings look like your summer plans - if you're a member - have just become a bit better. The new house will also feature The Velvet Room & Dark Room - a private space and screening room exclusively for members.
After three years of building works, this will be the 2nd house for the hospitality group in New York and their 16th house globally.
Working hard and hardly working.
