Kobrick Coffee Co.

4th generation New York City coffee roasters Kobrick Coffee Co have finally put down proper roots with a Meatpacking cafe and cocktail den.

Kobrick Coffee Co is one of the oldest coffee roasters in New York. Founded in the 1920's and now in its 4th generation of ownership, they've finally opened their first brick and mortar cafe to showcase their unique blends, history and coffee craft, but with an interesting twist. While the day is a haven for those seeking the liquid goodness of caffeine, night timethe space is transformed into a drinking den filled with bespoke cocktails. Beyond just this basic changing of offerings, the coffee element remains throughout through techniques, flavours and style. Their "steamed eggs," for example, are prepared using the steamer wand of a coffee machine and their Three Hour Kyoto Negroni is prepared using their single origin Kanya coffee slow dripped in a Yama Cold Brew Drip Tower. Another twist that begs to be tried is their take on a Bloody Mary, made using a Chemex filter.

This new mixed-use concept is a project in conjunction with HELLA Bitters, a Brooklyn-based bitters and spirits experience company and is housed in Meatpacking with the room designed under the overarching eye for detail of designer Mark Zeff.
