Columbus Circle has just got a lot more interesting. After months of work, this $14.5 million dollar project has finally opened inside the commuter hub, filling the 30,000 foot space with nearly 40 businesses covering everything from clothing to food, flowers to crafts and everything in between. Most of these outlets are occupied by independent New York businesses, using this busy area as a test ground for pop-ups, first time brick and mortars, and new concepts.
On the food side, there is grab & go options from the likes of Doughnuttery, Gastronomie, and The Nut Box, while if you're looking for more of a traditional experience with a highly experimental backdrop there is also sit down restaurants like The Pizza, Ellary's Greens, Bolivian Llama Party, Yong Kang Street and more.
If you're looking to do a little shopping there is plenty of options from retail outlets such as The New Stand, Specs New York, Flower Girl, Elma Blint, and many others.
Open from 8am - 8pm daily, this space sees around 90,000 people walk through every day, so having this extra option of entertainment is a huge benefit to the city in what was otherwise underutilized space.
Keeping your foodie and shopping game up even in transit
