River Oyster Bar team opens its temporary location in Brickell and plans to open new Hawaiian concept later this year with freshly cut fish served in a bowl of rice and veggies.

The chefs behind Brickell's popular River Oyster Bar have been working on a brand new concept outside of the always-buzzing oyster hotspot. Say hello to Local Boy Poke, slated to open later this year in Wynwood. 

But that doesn't mean U have to wait that long to check it out. The guys recently opened a temporary spot right behind the River Oyster Bar, shelling out classic Hawaiian-style grub, such as poke bowls made of freshly cut fish served atop veggies, rice, or quinoa.

Every Friday and Saturday, from noon-1am, get your eats on, trying out other speciality menu items, too, like fried beef, udon noodles, sushi, and salmon poke bowl. Bonus, you can enjoy a nightcap (and say a dozen oysters) at the River Oyster Bar afterwards.
