The Hollywood Farmers Market, founded in 1991, was one of just a few farmers markets in all of California when it opened for business on May 5th of that year. It became an immediate success – bringing together farmers and producers from as close as Ventura County and as far away as the Central San Joaquin region.
The anniversary events will include cooking demos by high-profile chefs, including Susan Feniger Neal Fraser and Curtis Stone, as well as book signings by a host of celebrated chefs and food writers. There’ll also be the Amoeba Music Main Stage featuring bands and musicians.
As part of the 25th Anniversary commemoration, there will also be a weekly “Kid’s Zone” hosting specially customized kid-friendly cooking demonstrations, face painting, arts and crafts and much more.
