Rakkan Bar 

An Athenian restaurant of the same name is opening Rakkan on Kalo Livadi beach, open from late May, a great place to start your day on the unblemished sands with fresh juice, loungers, cabanas, opium beds and a full concierge service. There's live music, top Greek DJs and food and wine in a Japanese fusion style, and of course a range of cocktails U need to try.

Bill & Coo Coast

Another May opening; the stunning five star Bill & Coo Coast suites with stunning light and airy modern Mediterranean design, and a range of premium services, including access to the private beach, a water's edge swimming pool, yoga and treatment rooms, restaurant and in-suite dining, private drivers, PAs, yacht and plane charters; everything U need for your island getaway. It's set into the south-western tip of the island and has a range of suites to suit your needs.

Tserkov Store

Spanning two floors, this super boutique features top global brands and designers of high-fashion including Marni, Elie Saab, Christopher Kane & Alexander Wang. The store is contemporary with carefully sourced interiors that are framed by brass and plush fittings, exposed time-worn walls, gold-plated fixtures, coloured marble and bronze-framed furnishings. It will have five distinct shopping zones: avant-garde perfumery, footwear and the premium designers area - womenswear, men’s pret-a-porter and genderless collections. Open mid-year.

Panormos Beach Resort

Panormos beach, located in the harbour on the northern end of the island, is under development in 2016 to open in summer with a beach resort, which promises a bar, restaurant, boutiques, and events, surrounded by modern architecture and unparalleled ambience. Plus George Papageorgiou (who was the GM at Nammos on Psarou beach) leads the restaurant team and the food promises to be exceptional. As for the vibe, expect sun soaking indulgence.

Astra Bar's new venue

Although currently being kept secret, there's a new club coming to Lakka Square on the site of the closed Space Club and it's being run by Astra Bar, one of the tried and tested staples of Mykonos nightlife for the last 25 years. Astra has hosted a range of celebs and partygoers throughout the years, it's chic and formal, and stays open until dawn. There's nothing to suggest that the new site won't give U the same thrills.
