Nuteria is the first of its kind - a café and shop in Park Slope, Brooklyn, serving and selling food all focused around the chocolate spread Nutella.
The café serves Nutella-flavoured coffees, cappuccinos and hot chocolate as well as (gluten-free) crepes made to order, waffles, paninis and cakes, all including Nutella in the recipes, whether in the sauce or the baking mixtures of the cakes and sandwiches. Purists can even just simply purchase a spoonful of Nutella spread for $1. Meanwhile, in the bite size store there is Nutella-themed merchandise including Nuteria t-shirts and jars of Nutella in an array of sizes. The door to the venue is even propped open with a gallon-sized jar of Nutella itself.
There are plenty of options for the non-Nutella lovers too, including savoury paninis and sandwiches.
Nutella was brought from Italy to the US over 25 years ago. and has been the most popular chocolate spread on the market globally since its arrival.
