Amazon has joined the food delivery throw down in New York City with their Prime service now including restaurant partnerships. Already winning the hearts and wallets of people everywhere with their uber-fast Prime deliveries for everything from computers to socks to cat food, Amazon has now matched up worth over 350 restaurants across Manhattan and the best part is it's free. Obviously, you'll still have to pay for the food itself, but at this point, they're not implementing any kind of fee-based system for allowing you to stuff your face without leaving your home.
So far some of the restaurants involved include Blue Ribbon Chicken, Junior's Restaurant & Cheesecake, Momofuku Milk Bar, Arancini Bros., Empanada Mama and more. With the promise to get your tasty treats to you within an hour at the same prices as if you were eating in house, and a price point guaranteed to be the lowest available, this service is available through the Amazon Prime App and is included in the annual membership fee of $99.
Letting the food come to you.
