Build the sandwich of your dreams made from super fresh ingredients and have it delivered with the click of a button

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and when it comes to food, we certainly eat with our eyes first. Chelsea sandwich maker, Barney Brown, has launched an interactive portal on their website that allows you to see an illustration of the sandwich of your dreams as you create it. 

Start with a solid base from 10 different kinds of bread and keep building with 8 different types of meat, plus tuna, chicken or egg salad. Keep the idea alive with 10 different kinds of cheese and then top it all off with a selection of toppings from pesto to cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts to olives and more. Their base 'wich starts at $6, but with every click for additional ingredients the price - and cute illustration - adjusts towards your end result. 

The brainchild of Matt Baer, who also founded the mini-cupcake chain Baked by Melissa and calls himself a "highly dysfunctional sandwich lover," there is no set menu for their sandwiches, however, there is a user generated gallery of popular combinations giving the whole experience a community feel. Get involved between 10am - 4pm, in Manhattan anywhere between 14th street and 42nd street and between the FDR and the West Side Highway.
