Eastfields

Anthony and Tom Martignetti have a few hits under their belts with The East Pole and Brinkley's. Joining forces with Chef Joe Capozzi, they've gone and opened Eastfields with plenty of sharing plates, larger dishes and even a couple old favourites.

Sitting pretty on the Upper East Side, the aptly named Eastfields is a contemporary American cuisine restaurant opened by the same crew as nearby spot The East Pole and Pizza Beach. White washed low ceilings with blue accents and exposed brick walls give it a kind of rustic nautical charm, with cosy blue leather booths, a long marble bar and dark brown cabinets, lending to an easy and comfortable environment.

The menu has a couple favorites pulled from The East Pole, like their classic Macro Plate, however, executive chef, Joe Capozzi has really let his creativity shine with expert dishes such as the Pan Seared Arctic Char, with Candy Beet Puree and Grilled Asparagus and the Braised Heritage Lamb Shawarma loaded with Hummus in a Grilled Caraway Flatbread. While there's plenty of meat options, Capozzi really took his time to make some gorgeous veggie plates as well with the Maplebrook Farms Burrata with Maitake & Red Onion Tart standing out.

There is also a full cocktail menu with originals like the SGT. Peppers with local strawberry and black pepper mezcal, cranberry and lime as well as their North Fork Negroni with a local Eau de Vie, Aperol, Amaro Montenegro, and an orange twist.
