Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn

Loaded with multiple screens, epic food & booze, plus interactive activities, this alternative cinema chain is taking the theatre going experience to another level.

Originally started in Austin, this art house theatre chain has locations in over 20 cities and counting, ushering in the new breed of entertainment where there truly is more than meet the eye. Opening this Friday in downtown Brooklyn, this edition of the Drafthouse features seven screens all fully loaded with the best blockbusters and independents, plus they will be showcasing cult classics with fun quote-a-longs, dress up parties and more.

The special treat here is the food and drink service. Made with some serious attention to detail, they have a full food menu plus have a complete beer, wine, and cocktail offering, all of which will be discretely brought to your plush chair throughout the screenings. This isn't just soda and popcorn - although they do have that with all kind of tasty toppings, - we're talking real food like Asian Salmon Salad, Lamb Burger, baked to order Flatbreads and more.

Besides just being able to order restaurant quality chow while sitting back and watching films, they've also built in a creepy, yet awesome bar, The House Of Wax, filled with the wax head, hands, and other chill-inducing artefacts. This gothic looking space features the carpet from The Overlook Lodge as featured in the cult-classic film, The Shining.

All cinema tickets are $14.50.
