Chef Günter Seeger may have made his name in Atlanta with his namesake Seeger, where he served up experimental and beautiful tasting menus for over 30 years, propelling the modern idea of what a tasting menu could be to a national stage. He has long been committed to using seasonal ingredients, farmers markets produce and top quality ingredients to create daily changing menus before it was the norm. He's won almost every award out there, from Michelin Star to James Beard Awards, AAA 5 Diamonds to Tradition et Qualité and more. Needless to say, the man knows how to make food more than just a meal.
After many months of anticipation, Chef Seeger has finally brought his new tasting menu restaurant to Greenwich Village. With whitewashed brick and delicately coloured accents, this tiny restaurant only has 34 seats in the dining room with a little "bar cart" right by the door to serve up libations during the meal. Obviously is a hot ticket, so be sure to make a reservation. Dinner starts at $185, inclusive of service and can be booked via Tock.
Dinner dates and special occasions - like a random tuesday.
Gather a group of 8 and reserve the special "friends table" in the kitchen and watch the chefs work their magic.
