Bowery Market

This year-round outdoor mini-food market is loaded with big flavors to help feed the masses

Over on the tiny plot of land vacated by an auto-body shop at 348 Bowery, a micro food hall has emerged. Semi-permanent "houses" have been built to bring super fast tasty treats to an area brimming with great food, but lacking in fast-casual options. The first food venture from Scott Marano, who has primarily focused on residential developments in the past, this is a year-round market is perfect for when you have a large group of people who can't agree on where to eat.

Alidoro has taken over a plot with their delicious Italian sandwiches filled with ingredients like artichoke hearts, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, soppressata and more. Hip veggies will be thrilled to see The Butchers Daughter also has an area, bringing their unique kind of vegetarian fare to the streets with massive salads, pizzas, juices and more. Also housed here, you will find sushi, coffee and Mexican chow perfect for grabbing on the go.

Open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m daily, the only downside is there isn't much seating, although a couple of the "houses" have a handful of tools available for counter seating.
