Taking the summer activity of your childhood and taking it to new levels, Slide The City is a Slip & Slide on steroids.

Remember how much fun slip & slides were as a kid? Well, add many more feet (1,000 feet, in fact), top music, food and booze and suddenly your favourite childhood summer pastime has a new lease on life. On August 27th, this 1,000-foot inflatable water ride will be taking over the town of Nyack, New Jersey, where riders of all ages will be taking turns in "waves" on inflatable tubes to whoosh down the track. 

With three different lanes - slow and easy for kids, wide for groups and families, and fast and wild fort adventure seekers - you can go as many times as you want in an allotted three-hour window. Beyond the main event, they'll be having DJs at the top of the slide to make sure the tunes keep people moving all day, plus there will be food trucks, beer garden, a craft fair and more.
