Massoni

With a ground floor restaurant, and a second floor lounge hospitality partners Dale Talde, David Massoni, and John Bush have branched out in Manhattan inside the Arlo Nomad Hotel.

Living inside the Arlo Hotel in NoMad is a myriad of options from the tastemakers behind Brooklyn hotspots Talde, Pork Slope, and Thistle Hill Tavern. Depending on your mood, you can get busy with a proper sit-down restaurant, a 2nd-floor bar for something a bit more casual, or if you're on the run, a grab and go spot in the lobby has you covered.

Massoni is an Italian restaurant at its core with the menu built around a foundation of house-made pasta like the goat cheese gnudi with mushroom, apple, & hazelnut and pan baked pizzas, but there is more than meets the eye here. Cast a closer look at the menu and see some of Chef Dale Talde's love for Asian food creeping deliciously in with dishes like a Caesar salad made with nori, or malfalde with uni, serrano, and a smoked onion dashi. Many of the traditional dishes are made with ingredients found in NYC, such as classic arancini made with biryani and kimchi fried rice as a breakfast option. Inspired by the multinational environment that makes up New York, this is a modern menu keeping eaters on their toes with surprisingly crafted dishes that should feel instantly homelike.

Barlo - their bar and lounge space - is casual and easy, with drinks and snacks perfect for when you don't want to commit to a whole sit-down situation but still want quality. Be sure to also check out their Bodega in the lobby for on the run snacks.

The soon-to-be sky high bar, The Heights, sits on the 31st floor. Named for the various heights of NYC - Jackson Heights, Brooklyn Heights, etc - the list will focus on Italian-inspired cocktails and wines.
