My Perfect Day - Eva Alexandrides

Eva Alexandrides, co-founder of Harley Street's top anti-aging programme, 111SKIN, shares her perfect day around London...

How do you start your day?
I start everyday with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice; it’s such a refreshing wake-up that gets me energised for the day ahead. I love to spend some time with my sons in the morning before they go off to school. After a proper breakfast of granola or fruit, I usually walk my youngest to school for some quality time together.

Leisurely lunch go to?
Leisurely lunches are a weekend treat; I’m usually too busy with meetings so weekday lunches are quick and on-the-go. For a lazy Sunday, the Ivy Chelsea Garden is a real favorite spot; their garden is a beautiful space to spend time. For rainy days, China Tang is another real treat.

Favourite way to pass the time in London?
With London as the absolute epicenter of culture in the UK, it can be so easy to miss incredible events – there’s always so much going on. When I get a chance, I love to peruse Museums such as the V&A; or catch concerts at the Royal Albert Hall or the O2 Arena. In the summer I really love watching open air theatre productions and opera.

Favourite London landmark, and why?
St James Park is my go-to spot in London. With perfectly manicured lawns, as well views of Buckingham Palace, and the incredible London skyline, it has everything in one place. For quiet Saturday afternoons it has secluded spaces for quiet time with my sons and watch the ducks.

Tipple of choice and favourite cocktail hangout?
I’m not a big drinker, but I love a gin and tonic with a slice of lime on a warm day, and I can never say no to glass of champagne. The Connaught Bar is a great place for a quiet cocktail when I fancy something different.

Favourite dining destinations, and why?
I love Sexy Fish for the amazing atmosphere and delicious healthy food. For a more simple dining experience, Barrafina in Soho is great for tapas – if you’re lucky enough to get a table on the pavement, it’s the best place to watch London’s colourful characters pass by. Coya is another favourite spot; the private membership section always has a live band and the Peruvian cuisine is delicious.

Final stop for a nightcap, and why?
The Groucho Club is a great spot – super laid back, but the best place to be after any exhibitions or big events. Annabel’s is another favourite, their big parties are always incredible. I can’t wait for the new Annabel’s to open next year – the opening party is at the end of September and will be featuring the best Opera singer in the world.

Best hangover remedy?

I don’t drink much when I’m in London; I tend to celebrate more when I’m on holidays. We enjoy beach holidays so my go-to cure is a dip in the sea; incredibly refreshing and releases much needed endorphins in the morning.

Where next on your travels?
I love Mykonos after a busy time, so that’s my next destination. Then we have a wedding in the beautiful region of Tuscany. My husband and I are off to New York later in the year for a launch party for the brand we founded, 111SKIN, which will be a fantastic event and something we always look forward to.

Eva and her husband Dr Yannis Alexandrides have recently launched 111CRYO, a ground breaking new treatment and the very first full body non-nitrogen Cryotherapy chamber in the UK, at London's Harvey Nichols.
