Having produced some of the most seminal dance tracks of our time, including I Feel Love (Donna Summer) Flashdance... What a Feeling (Irene Cara), Take my Breath Away (Berlin), and many more, Giorgio Moroder wrote, produced and/or created the soundtrack of an era. Without his contribution to music, the dance scene today would be a vastly different landscape.
Now for one special weekend over at the Brooklyn Sanctuary, he's returned to help recreate an event harkening back to the days of Studio 54 where glitter was standard, nudity normal and decadence was expected. Pulling together a cast of heavy-hitting artists from the nights of glorious debauchery, Studio 54 regulars Nicky Siano, Jackmaster, Oliver, Armand Van Helden, Kungs and Soul Clap, this is somewhere between a party, a performance, and a concert.
Tickets range from $40 for basic entry to $110 for VIP access which gives you complimentary queue jump, coat check, premium viewing space and special bespoke interactions curated especially for you. As with most things of a risque, this is a late night affair with the night starting off between 9pm-11pm and a strict no photography rule.
Embracing the best of Disco from the guy who basically created it.
