Over on hip and happening Bond Street, this bright and colorful Thai spot is the collaborative efforts of some very well qualified individuals from the hospitality trade. Thai natives, brothers Chat and Ohm Suansilphong of the much awarded Nahm in Thailand, have partnered up with some Colicchio & Sons peeps and even roped in Dev Johnson of Employees Only to look after the drinks. A powerhouse of a team, to say the least.
This is fresh seafood at it's finest, loaded with flavours yet with a kind of simplicity that will fill your soul with feelings of home. This is modern traditional Thai fare, so don't expect to see Pad Thai and Satay, although there are more than enough other options to keep your attention. The whole crispy branzino is an absolute must, with delicate meat falling off the bone making a perfect sharing dish. If you're looking for heat be sure to check out their Crab Curry, which packs a serious spicy punch but continually keeps people coming back for more.
While they opened with purely a beer and wine license, this buzzy spot is waiting for a full liquor one and have some of the West Village's finest armed and ready to pour out delicious libations the second they can.
