Following the resounding success of last year’s 34 Mayfair Kate Moss Coupe, 34 Mayfair has partnered with British shoe designer and fellow Mayfair institution Rupert Sanderson to create The Rupert Sanderson Champagne Slipper for 34 Mayfair
Inspired by the Art Deco contours of the restaurant itself, not to mention NYC’s Chrysler Building, Rupert has crafted the ultimate Champagne glassware design, where the flute has been turned into an intricately detailed, silver-plated brass and crystal glass shoe stand.
The “heel” can be detached for drinking, ensuring the functionality of this chef d’oeuvre. Diners (from 9 November) who order a bottle of the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé will be served their Champagne in The Rupert Sanderson Champagne Slipper. The made-to-order slippers are also available to buy (limited availability) – 1 glass shoe stand, 6 Champagne flutes & a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé for £5,000.
Orders may be placed from Wednesday, 9 November 2016 and they will be available through to spring 2017 or until stocks have run out – there are only 50 for sale. They are made to order and delivery timing will be confirmed upon enquiry.
