Flora Bar

High ceilings, massive windows, a gorgeous wine list and delicious food options, this two-in-one spot from the guys behind some of SoHo's favourite eateries is a perfect oasis in the upper East.

From the guys who wowed the city first with Estela and then Café Altro Paradiso, comes this multi-purpose cafe and restaurant housed in the Met Breuer museum. Divided up between two stunning spaces, each with its own distinct identity, there is something for any kind of mood. Obviously, with the pedigree behind this place, it's no surprise that the service and food is outstanding

Going for something quick and casual? Stop off at Flora Coffee from 10 am - 5 pm for easy eating in a bright and airy cafe setting with tables right in front of the floor to ceiling windows. Soups, sandwiches, and pastries are available plus expertly made coffee from local roasters Parlor Coffee from Brooklyn.

If you're after something a little more substantial, head over to the adjacent dining room with the bar sitting under a mezzanine and table also right up by the windows. Here is a larger seafood-focused menu with plenty of light dishes like sushi-grade tuna tartar and snow crab with yuzu Osho mayonnaise, plus rutabaga-Raclette tart, lamb ribs with Mojo Verde and more. A progressive wine list is available with a diverse selection, meaning you can dictate how you extravagant you want the meal to be. Obviously

Ideal For
