Looking like an updated version of a slick 1950's bar, the latest venture from Matt Abramcyk and Akiva Elstein (Navy and Smith & Mills) is smooth, sexy, and welcoming. Separated into two sections - a bar and dining room, this place is filled with warm wood, soft lighting, and delicious eats that will make you want the whole menu.
The man in charge of the kitchen is chef Daniel Berg who used to do his thing over at Daniel and Locanda Verde. The menu is light, yet comforting with dishes like chicken meatballs with red wine and parsnip, grilled octopus with black mission fig, Nicoise aioli, & Aleppo pepper and wild king salmon with spinach and dill puree, & a mustard sabayon.
Open from early till late, this all-day number ticks a lot of boxes, perfect for everything from breakfast meetings, brunch with friends, and evening drinks.
