This little corner spot looks as unassuming as it comes, but inside are some big flavours from a Taiwanese-American menu and some of the nicest people ever.

This is the kind of restaurant you hope stays just under the radar. Armed with incredible food where every dish was eaten is a wonder, simple yet comfortable surroundings, and charming service, you could easily go here every night and be totally happy.

Founded by a duo of friends, Josh Ku and Chef Trigg Brown, who combined their love of the diverse eats of Asia along with Brown's tendency to play with flavors, the menu here leans towards traditional flavours however this is a new kind of Taiwanese style. The Beef Roll with grass fed beef shank, scallion pancake and egg is chewy and soft, bursting with flavour. Another stand out is the Zhajiangmian, a noodle dish with cucumbers, egg noodles and lamb.

While the room itself is pretty plain, the combination of a consistently good soundtrack, plate after plate of amazing food, and happy eaters create a vibe where everyone is smiling and talking to each other - other tables included. It's like being in on some great secret of yumminess that everyone there is part of.
