Although they started as just a burger and beer spot, their Milkshakes have taken on a life on their own with insane ingredients.

Sometimes a restaurant sets out to specialize in one thing, only to have another menu item steal the spotlight. So is the case of Black Tap, which set out to do burgers and beer, with all the usual bits and bobs like fries, milkshakes, and more. The thing is, as good as their burgers are - their milkshakes are kind of out of this world. 

These aren't just normal shakes: they are massive candy-rimmed glasses of ice cream and milk, that have been mounted high with the likes of peanut butter cups, pretzels, cookies, rock candy, lollypops, brownies, whipped cream, and more.  It's almost a wonder how you actually drink (or eat)  these works of art. 

With four locations so far, they have recently announced a few more locations coming up including one in Dumbo in Spring.
