Allora Ristorante

It's all about the small details at this Midtown Ristorante with tableside preparations, an expansive wine list, and unique pasta.

Inside the Bernic Hotel on 47th street, find a land filled with classic Italian flavour and charm. This isn't rustic, how-mama--usta-make, but more along the lines of where you might take mama when you want to take her somewhere nice, but comfortable.

Filled with Northern-style cuisine, find the menu crammed with dishes like a classic Carpaccio De Manzo with elegantly thin filet mignon, a Caesar salad which is put together tableside, and of course, lots of delicious pasta. The signature dish here that's getting all kinds of attention is the Miller's Wife Pasta, which comes as one incredibly long strand of pasta, neatly spiralled on the plate and ready for you to cut it into perfect mouthfuls. Or you could come in with a partner in crime and have an awesome Lady & the Tramp moment.

Start off at the long white and gray marble bar where expert bartenders will happily get your meal started with liquid before heading into the larger dining room, with jacketed waiters and a gorgeous chandelier. In the warmer seasons, there is also rooftop seating available, which can be a perfect suntrap on nice days.
