Feasting Club at Bocca di Lupo

Regional Italian trattoria, Bocca di Lupo, have introduced a series of month-long regional takeovers delving deeper into the ingredients, dishes and techniques used in Italy. On Sundays throughout February, June and October, their private dining room is turned into a feasting den with the region’s tasting menu and banquet-style sharing tables. These month-long regional takeovers offer a selection of dishes that represent the chosen region. The first region up, for the month of February, is the mountainous Valtellina Ski in Lombardy. Priced at £35 per person. Only available on Sundays, for the month of February.

Off Menu at Foley's

Join Foley’s intimate Off Menu tasting sessions with head chef Mitz Vora, following the accolade of its first Michelin Bib Gourmand award in Autumn. Running exclusively on Sundays with limited spaces, the Off Menu sessions showcase the talent of Mitz and his team who serve up a six-course tasting menu of dishes themed around regional cuisine from the Middle East and Asia and never seen before on the Foley’s menu. Be welcomed by a candlelit reception before joining Mitz and his team in the secluded downstairs area of the restaurant. Sitting around the kitchen counter, diners are able to chat with the chefs through the open kitchen and be part of the action. Priced at £65 per person. 

Test Kitchen Tuesdays at Craft London

Every Tuesday evening, blind taste up to 6 dishes that are still in development or available only in very small quantity. U also have the opportunity to be involved in the creative process of menu testing and be the first to taste potential new dishes in a single sitting and engage with the chefs who have created them, as well as being part of the collaborative ethos that Craft London (a project by acclaimed chef Stevie Parle with designer Tom Dixon) is committed to. The chefs prepare the seasonal menu from scratch and create a completely original menu, experimenting with ingredients and techniques - served every Tuesday from 8pm and priced at £28 per person. 

Italian Supper Club at Cafe Murano

Angela Hartnett’s is hosting a monthly dinner, with Luca Dusi from Italian wine supplier Passione Vino. Held in the Covent Garden restaurant’s first floor dining room (pictured), the dinners explore the food and wine of a different Italian region, each month. Angela and Luca will be on hand to talk through the menu and wines throughout the evening. The first explores Abruzzo, with dishes including Maccheroni alla chitarra with lamb ragu and chocolate cake with praline paired with wines. Future dates are Wednesday 1st March (La Marche), Tuesday 9th May (Veneto) and Tuesday 13th June (Sicily).

La Grande Boueffe at Sardine

The last Monday of the month, rustic Southern French restaurant, Sardine, host La Grande Boueffe - a regular feasting set dinner menu which celebrates a special ingredient, occasion or great dish. On each occasion, chef Alex Jackson (a protégé of Stevie Parle) will dish up sharing snacks, a starter, the main event and a dessert for £28pp. A previous dinner celebrated the Provençal classic and Grande Dame of all fish stews: Bouillabaisse and also Aligot Geant - a fondue-like dish made from cheese blended into mashed potatoes from L'Aubrac region.
