Alta

After a resounding success with Cosme, celebrated Mexican chef Enrique Olvera's casual eatery in NoHo is just as much of a hit.

Mexican hit Cosme from chef Enrique Olvera has been the talk of the town since it opened with its bright authentic flavours and a clean, modern aesthetic. But the celebrated chef, along with his partner Santiago Gomez, expanded with a little sister called Alta located on Lafayette Street in NoHo.

A departure from their first venture, Alta is a bit more chilled out and casual with only 65 seats. The aim here is to have a nice space where friends can gather and easily mingle with flavourful dishes inspired by the Mediterranean that are meant to be shared and simple drinks like classic Micheladas.

Chef Enrique Olvera really made his name on the international dining scene with his Mexico City restaurant Pujol which is ranked as the 25th best restaurant in the world and features a menu of Mexican delicacies served in a refined and elegant style, raising the bar and showing the world that Latin food has a place in haute cuisine.
