Le Très Particulier

Relax in a secret garden set in part of a 19th-century residence, whilst sipping an absinthe-based Laura Palmer cocktail.

Tucked behind the Montmartre hill, part of the spectacular 19th-century residence of Hotel Particulier, lies Le Très Particulier bar engulfed in a mystic setting of flowers and greenery designed by Louis Benech (who also renovated the Tuileries). The setting includes towering trees, wild ferns and patches of creeping ivy that will have you forgetting that you are still in Paris.

Simply finding the bar, means you are in-the-know - visitors must proceed down a private-access street, through a series of intercoms and buzzers, before finally reaching the bar. Once inside the 19th Century building, go past the restaurant and the library to get to Les Très Particulier that comprises a sun room and lounge.

After that, there is nothing left to do but relax and enjoy this guilty pleasure of the lucky few.

We recommend that you try the daring and innovative cocktail 'The Egoist' made of thyme and lemon-infused gin, homemade camomile syrup, pineapple, lemon bitters and smoked tea.

If you’re feeling peckish, the bar has a special nibbles menu. But if money is no option, why not try the in-house restaurant. U won’t be disappointed.
