Suzuki

Omakase, Kaiseki or cocktail lounge, this new multi-concept from chef Toshio Suzuki is set to tick all boxes.

Master sushi chef, Toshio Suzuki, is kind of the grandfather of the New York sushi obsession. Back in the 1980's he opened Sushi Zen and taught the way of raw fish and delicate rolls which has formed the DNA of many of our favourite spots. In early April, he will finally be opening his second venture in partnership with his son Yuta.

After a lifetime of carving the highest quality fish, you can bet that this place is going to be fantastic. There will be three areas, each with its own vibe and menu, but the running theme will be top notch quality above all. The sushi bar will be called Satsuki and will only contain 10 seats, creating an intimate and classic experience. Three Pillars will be their cocktail bar, where the chemistry-inspired bartender, Alex Ott, has created a menu based on the three pillars of Zen. The other restaurant in the space, Suzuki, will be more open and loungy with a modern slick edge and kaiseki menus which will be priced from $70 - $150, as well as a special menu of the day.
